Cal State Trustees Applaud Planned Fee Freeze

California State University Chancellor Charles Reed says he's hopeful students won't have to pay more to go to school this fall.

CSU trustees approved fee increases last fall, but Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is proposing putting enough money into the budget to "buy out" the hikes.

That still has to be approved by the Legislature. Reed said he's as confident as he can be that the freeze will happen.
