Humboldt State University staff members held a protest Friday October 13, 2006, to draw attention to what the staff members claim is a lack of raises, rights and respect.

Long Beach -- Top executives in the California State University system are compensated significantly more than previously announced but, according to a consultant hired by CSU, still lag behind their counterparts at comparable institutions.

  

From Inside Bay Area, 9/3/06. In the most comprehensive survey the campus has conducted in years, students at California State University, East Bay, gave their professors high marks. Most said they would recommend the school to others of the same ethnicity.
