Franklin Park:
Think there are no single straight guys left in NYC? Skip the LES dives and hop to this new bar and beer garden instead. It’s worth the trip to Crown Heights (just a few blocks from the Brooklyn Museum) to check out all the hot 20- and 30-somethings on Franklin Park’s patio. There may not be an awning for rainy days yet (the staff says they’re working on it), but this chill outdoor spot offers a rotating selection of 12 beers on tap, with a focus on local brews like Coney Island Lager and Brooklyn’s Six Point Righteous. Also in the bar’s future are some BBQ’d meats and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows—s’mores! Rain or shine, this new addition to the Brooklyn brew scene is sure to be the jewel in the Crown.
