Bargaining Update #17 - January 20, 2012
Your CSUEU bargaining team recommends ratification of the tentative agreement (TA) reached with the CSU on January 13, 2012. In coming weeks, bargaining team members will attend meetings sponsored by the chapters to explain and answer questions about the tentative agreement.

Bargaining Update #16 - January 13, 2012
The CSUEU bargaining team successfully concluded negotiations for a new contract this afternoon. CSUEU and CSU reached a tentative agreement which is subject to ratification by each bargaining unit.

December 9, 2011
The CSUEU bargaining team met with CSU management at the Office of the Chancellor in Long Beach from Monday, December 5, through Thursday, December 8, with Thursday as an additional day beyond the originally scheduled three days of sessions. The two sides reached a tentative agreement on many articles of the contract. Importantly, protection from layoffs is included in the agreement.

The CSUEU Board of Directors has approved a resolution supporting CFA in its actions planned for November 17. We must remember that the CSUEU/CSU contract limits what CSUEU members can do, both individually and collectively, in support of CFA.
