Retro checks expected before holidays

Like CSUEU, the CSU has now determined that the Board of Trustees does not have to ratify the Tentative Agreement we just reached dealing with how the compensation dollars are to be spent for FY 2007. The good news is that it is very likely that CSUEU-represented employees will receive their retroactive pay BEFORE the December holidays!

According to the latest information we have from the Chancellor’s Office, “Retro checks are scheduled to be issued on Dec. 14. This means, however, that they are sent to the campuses on the 14th. The campuses then have to receive them, sort them, and distribute them. Barring any unforeseen problems, employees should receive them before the Holiday closure, unless they are on vacation. The new salary schedule should be posted Dec. 13, unless they have a processing problem.”
