The Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) has issued a Proposed Decision which places the Library Services Specialist (LSS) series into Bargaining Unit 9. The proposed decision will become final if no party files an appeal by January 16, 2008. Click here.

We have seen email from some campuses questioning whether there is enough time to process retroactive checks before the holidays.

Like CSUEU, the CSU has now determined that the Board of Trustees does not have to ratify the Tentative Agreement we just reached dealing with how the compensation dollars are to be spent for FY 2007. The good news is that it is very likely that CSUEU-represented employees will receive their retroactive pay BEFORE the December holidays!

On October 17 and October 25, 2007, the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) held hearings to determine whether the proposed classification of Library Services Specialist should be placed in Bargaining Unit 9. CSUEU and CSU had filed a joint Unit Modification petition with PERB which led to these hearings. There was no opposition to the petition.
