August 19: Furlough LMC Report

A newly formed statewide Labor Management Committee (LMC) comprised of CSUEU and CSU representatives met at the Office of the Chancellor in Long Beach on Monday, August 17, to discuss the implementation and impact of furloughs.

  
August 5: Information for Exempt Employees During Furlough Weeks

At least eight campuses begin furloughs this week. During furlough weeks (also known as "furlough periods" per section 2b of the furlough agreement), exempt employees become non-exempt.

CSUEU Ratifies Agreement with CSU for Furlough Days

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 20, 2009) – The California State University Employees Union (CSUEU), representing some 16,000 classified California State University (CSU) staff members, announced today that it has ratified a furlough agreement with the CSU.
