California State University Employees Union (CSUEU)

1108 “O” Street, Suite 500

Sacramento California 95814-9956

We are members of California State University Employees Union (CSUEU) and represent employees in bargaining units 2, 5, 7, and 9 at all CSU campuses. We’re contacting you today because according to our records, you’re not currently a “full member” of CSUEU. Quite a few of you are thinking, “That’s funny, I see dues being taken out of my check every month. What do you mean I’m not a member?” We hate to break it to your, but those are fair-share fees, not dues.

The difference in cost between a fair-share fee payer and a full member average just $0.11 a month, LESS THAN $1.50 PER YEAR! The benefits of paying that extra buck and half a year are significant. Some of those benefits include:

  • Power and Solidarity with your follow co-workers to win better pay, benefits and working conditions
  • The RIGHT TO VOTE on your union representatives and contract
  • Representation on disciplinary matters as well as contractual issues
  • Education Assistance in the form of grants, scholarships and reimbursements

You’ll also get CSEA membership benefits:

If you are new to the university, if you don’t know your membership status, if you’ve thought of joining the union, but would like some questions answered first, we are here to help!

Please go to http://www.csueu.org/Resources/join.aspx to sign up today! Again, if you have any questions or need help filling out the forms, please contact us at (657) 278-2264.
