Assembly Bill 369, sponsored by the CSUEU and co-sponsored by SEIU and Teamsters, would restore 5% annual salary steps based on a satisfactory evaluation. The bill, authored by Assemblymember Dr. Shirley Weber (D-San Diego), has been passed by the Assembly. It is currently in the Senate Appropriations Committee, and a vote is expected in late August.
