What can we all do to help each other?  

✅ORGANIZE. 📣 GET LOUD.  💪SHOW STRENGTH IN NUMBERS.

And then join the Contract Action Team (CAT)!!

The CAT is our frontline team for bargaining. Made up of dedicated member volunteers, the CAT is how we turn contract negotiations into collective power, coordinating the on-the-ground action that lets management know we are organized, engaged, and ready to fight for a strong contract.

Here's what the CAT will be doing:

  • Attending and mobilizing members for Board of Trustees (BOT) meetings, including rallying outside the Chancellor's Office on BOT days to make our voices heard

  • Tabling at the Chancellor's Office to answer questions from represented staff and keep members informed throughout the bargaining process

  • Coordinating member attendance at bargaining sessions so our negotiators know they have the backing of the people they represent

None of this happens without you. The CAT is only as strong as the members who show up, speak out, and stand together.
