1. Protecting the integrity of the affiliate by serving as a forum for discussion of all matters relating to governing principles of CSUEU;

2. Reviewing and recommending action on the Policy File and procedures of the CSUEU affiliate;

3. Independently reviewing all actions of the CSUEU Board, Executive Committee, and Chapters for conformance with the Policy File, and bringing to the attention of the appropriate body any actions found not to be in conformance therewith;

4. Interpreting unclear or ambiguous portions of the Policy File and , along with any such interpretation, making recommendations as appropriate;

5. Reviewing recommendations for changes to the CSUEU Policy File, including: placing them in the appropriate language and format, submitting as an agenda item at next board meeting, reviewing for accuracy and making recommendations for revision, taking actions of the CSUEU Board and writing them in Policy File form; and

6. Reviewing Chapter Bylaws.
