Class standards are written in a broad and general manner, making it difficult to apply to concrete working situations. You can learn how your campus classifiers interpret the language of the standards by paying attention to your campus job postings, and the results of classification reviews. Read the standards in their entirety.

The latest version of CSU's Library Services Specialist (LSS) standards is now linked from CSUEU's LSS News page. With the recent implementation of the new LSS classification standards, it’s important for impacted employees to update their position descriptions as soon as possible, certainly before the September 30 deadline, if they haven’t done so within the last 12 months. CSUEU for the first time offers a free webinar designed to help union stewards and members learn more about the issue of job merging.
